Policies to Reduce Violence in Illinois: Research, Policy Analysis, and Recommendations (2019); by Cassandra Crifasi, Alexander McCourt and Daniel Webster

This report provides an overview of current gun laws in Illinois (as of February 2019); a summary of research demonstrating the effectiveness of gun laws and intervention services in reducing gun-related homicides and non-fatal shootings; and ten evidence-based recommendations to strengthen policies and regulations in Illinois to further reduce gun violence.
